Inventors include Mrs. Nandini Navketan Gaikwad; Mr. Ravindra Dhondu Morbekar; and Mrs. Mamta Praveen Dhole.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a self-healing software architecture for autonomous fault detection and recovery in distributed systems. The architecture comprises a monitoring module for continuously collecting operational data, a fault detection module for identifying abnormal system behavior, a fault diagnosis module for determining the cause of faults, a decision-making module for selecting appropriate recovery strategies, and a recovery module for automatically restoring normal system operation. The proposed architecture further includes a knowledge repository and a learning module to enhance future fault management through historical data analysis. The invention enables automatic fault detection, diagnosis, and recovery with minimal human intervention, thereby reducing system downtime, improving fault tolerance, enhancing service availability, and increasing the reliability of distributed computing environments, including cloud computing, edge computing, Internet of Things (IoT), and enterprise systems.
