Inventors include Dr. M. Suganthi; Mrs. K. M. Swarna Devi; Mrs. S. Subha; Ms. K. Madhumitha; Ms. V. Dhanalakshmi; and Mrs. K. G. Suhirdham.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses the development of a self-healing intelligent network framework for adaptive fault detection and recovery in distributed systems consisting of telemetry gathering component, data pre-processing and normalization component, feature engineering component, adaptive fault detection component, failure prediction component, fault correlation and root cause analysis component, severity assessment component, recovery decision component, recovery orchestration component, recovery validation component, knowledge base, and continuous learning component. The framework constantly gathers heterogeneous operational data from distributed network, computing, cloud, edge, IoT, and application resources and converts the data to machine- readable features. Machine learning approaches detect abnormality and predict possible failures using temporal and contextual patterns. A root cause analysis approach analyzes faults with respect to system dependencies and determines affected resources. An adaptive recovery process chooses and performs appropriate corrective actions, and validates the recovery operations. Any failed recovery actions lead to alternative or escalation actions. Feedback is used in detection and recovery processes to improve models and policies, and hence provide an autonomous and adaptive fault detection and recovery process in distributed systems. FIG.1
