Abstract: The present invention provides a smart composting system (100) for improving organic waste decomposition through continuous monitoring, memory-based learning, and adaptive process control. The system comprises a Compost Memory DNA (CMDNA) unit (104) configured to maintain compost-specific memory by associating compost conditions, applied actions, responses, and outcomes across composting cycles. An Adaptive Biological Digital Twin unit (106) maintains a dynamic digital representation of the composting process using current compost conditions and relevant information retrieved from the CMDNA unit (104). Based on the current compost condition and prior composting experience, the system evaluates and selects suitable composting actions and applies them to the physical composting process. Resulting compost conditions are measured and used to update the CMDNA and refine the Adaptive Biological Digital Twin. This continuous cycle of condition assessment, memory retrieval, action application, outcome measurement, memory updating, and digital model refinement progressively improves composting operation, reduces manual intervention, and maintains suitable conditions for efficient and consistent organic waste decomposition.
