MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541025146 A) filed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited on March 20, 2025, for Self-Contained Port And Manifold Design For Reliable Measurement Of Pressure Sensor.
Inventors include S. Venkata Ramana; and G. Vasavi.

Abstract: Self-contained port and manifold design for reliable measurement of pressure sensor ensures reliability of the data, simple to assemble, rugged to with stand the environment envelope and meet all qualification requirements. The objective of Engine control unit is to provide reliable, stable and stall free operation of the engine. The harsh environments viz., high temperature and large vibrations affect the performance of engine. As the thrust is not a direct parameter which can be evaluated, an engine control logic is developed to provide guaranteed performance. To evaluate and control the parameters at different sections of engine, various pressure and temperature sensors are used. The higher the accuracy of the input parameters of the sensors, the more reliable will be the output by the sensors. Hence, the installation of sensors plays a vital role considering the engine parameters and the harsh environment.
