Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a self-checkout trolley system (102) for retail product verification and billing, comprising a contactless identification reader (104), a proximity sensor (108), a load cell sensor (110), and a validation controller (112). The validation controller (112) receives a product identifier from a mobile scanning interface (114) and registers the product identifier as a pending validation entry prior to product placement in a trolley basket (202). Upon detecting a product placement event, the validation controller (112) determines whether a pending validation entry exists and generates a discordance signal when no pending validation entry exists. The validation controller (112) cross-verifies the contactless identification tag identifier and weight value concurrently against the pending validation entry to generate a multi-layer validation result and updates the billing record exclusively upon concordance. A checkout authorization signal (204) is generated upon receiving a digital payment acknowledgment from an external payment server (116). FIG. 1
