Inventors include G. Sateesh Kumar; Pavan Kumar Rejeti; Muddada Venkatesh; Dharmana Lokanadham; Bondala Ramakrishna; and Ramajogi Naidu Doddi.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a self-centering variable-load mechanical clamping and positioning device comprising a base assembly (10), a first movable clamping member (20), a second movable clamping member (30), a synchronization assembly (50), an operating actuator (60), a variable-force transmission assembly (70), a force-transfer element (80), guide members (90), a workpiece (100), a force-limiting mechanism (110), and a return mechanism (120). The synchronization assembly (50) coordinates movement of the first movable clamping member (20) and the second movable clamping member (30) in opposite directions for centering the workpiece (100) about a central reference axis (40). The variable-force transmission assembly (70) provides rapid movement and increased advantage during clamping through movement of the force-transfer element (80) along inclined surfaces (71, 72), while the force-limiting mechanism (110) controls maximum clamping force.
