MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611093454 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering And Technology Niet on August 01, 2026, for Self-Calibrating Reactive Multiport Network System With Adaptive Rf-Chain Allocation For Antenna Arrays.

Inventors include Dr. Karan Singh; and Dr. Mangey Ram Nagar.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A self-calibrating reactive multiport network system (100) with adaptive radio-frequency chain allocation for antenna arrays is disclosed. The system comprises an antenna array module (110), a reconfigurable reactive multiport network module (120) employing a stem-branch topology with tunable reactive junctions (122), shunt susceptance elements (124), and calibration reference ports (128), a radio-frequency chain interface module (130) with selectively activatable chains, a susceptance tuning controller (140) using closed-form matrix-decomposition-based synthesis, a calibration engine (160) that measures actual scattering parameters through sequential port excitation and generates error correction matrices in a closed loop with the tuning controller, a subspace estimation and tracking processor (150) for real- time target subspace tracking, and a mode controller (170) scheduling sensing and communication configurations within a time-division frame structure. The system achieves fully-digital receiver estimation accuracy with minimized active chain count and maintains combining accuracy through continuous self-calibration.
