MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641108544 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on September 10, 2026, for Self-Calibrating Computer-Implemented System And Method For Generating A Digital Twin Of Human Expertise.
Inventors include Ragavan K; and P N Bhargav Teja.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: A self-calibrating computer-implemented system (106) for generating a digital twin of human expertise is provided. The system (106) includes one or more biometric sensors (104), a memory (110), and a processor (108). The biometric sensors (104) are configured to acquire biometric signals of an expert (102). The processor (108) continuously determines, from the biometric signals, a cognitive plant time constant using a recursive autoregressive estimation including a previously estimated cognitive plant time constant for determining a current cognitive plant time constant. The determined cognitive plant time constant is propagated to a reasoning trajectory generation process, a knowledge graph retrieval process, a collective reasoning process, a causal verification process, and an adaptive control process. The system (106) generates a reasoning trajectory, retrieves historical reasoning trajectories from a knowledge graph, generates a decision output, adapts a control operation, and generates a hardware actuation signal for controlling a physical device (112).
