Abstract: SELF ALIGNING STREETLIGHT The present invention discloses self-aligning streetlight. The mechanism for alignment of the streetlight (200) corrects variation in a predefined angle of 5 the streetlight (200) alignment. The mechanism comprises a plurality of sensors (104) for monitoring and a plurality of actuators (106) for correcting the alignment of the streetlight (200) about an axis of the streetlight (200). The plurality of sensors (104) detects a deviation in a desired angle of the streetlight illumination, and the plurality of actuators (106) is configured to 10 correct the deviation in the angle of the streetlight detected by the plurality of sensors (104).
