MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641085868 A) filed by Lalit Grover on July 13, 2026, for Segmented Lace Architecture And Method Of Manufacture Cranial Prosthetic Assemblies With Mechanical Tension Isolation And Cantilever Stabilization.
Inventor includes Lalit Grover.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a segmented lace cranial prosthetic assembly and method of manufacture configured for mechanical tension isolation and temple stabilization. The assembly comprises a frontal lace structure including a central lace segment and lateral lace segments formed as physically discontinuous portions joined at transition interfaces that attenuate transmission of laterally induced tensile forces and establish mechanically independent tension bearing regions The segments are arranged to distribute tensile loading and define differentiated structural zones within a hairline region. An integrated retention structure is formed by at least a portion of the central lace segment in combination with rear supporting segments configured to generate circumferential tensile forces during use. The assembly further includes at least one cantilever member having a posterior anchoring portion secured relative to the integrated retention structure and an anterior projecting portion defining a curved member. Tensile forces are reoriented into localized downward stabilizing forces at temple regions, thereby improving durability, stress isolation, and temple conformity without adhesive bonding
