Abstract: A secure inter-organizational file-sharing system using Hyperledger Fabric and InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is disclosed. The system enables decentralized, auditable, and privacy-preserving exchange of digital documents among multiple organizations. Files are encrypted using AES-256 encryption before storage in IPFS, while file metadata, content identifiers, ownership records, access policies, and audit logs are maintained on a Hyperledger Fabric blockchain. User and organizational identities are verified through Verifiable Credentials and Decentralized Identifiers, and access permissions are enforced using Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC). A Proof-of-Availability module continuously verifies file persistence and updates availability records on the blockchain.
