An emergency override module allows authorized clinicians to immediately access complete patient medical history during critical situations where patients are unconscious or incapacitated, with all emergency accesses automatically audited on the blockchain. The distributed architecture decouples clinical FHIR data storage from consent and audit logic, providing cybersecurity resilience against ransomware, insider threats, and identity fraud prevalent in Indian healthcare while ensuring regulatory compliance, patient sovereignty, and seamless record portability across 50,000+ healthcare facilities without reliance on vulnerable centralized databases.
