Abstract: The present invention relates to a secondary battery comprising: one or more battery cells; a housing unit that is provided with a first inner space to accommodate the battery cells and has a through-hole formed in a side surface thereof; a venting device that is mounted in the through-hole and discharges gas generated inside the housing unit to the outside; and a particle-blocking member detachably coupled to the outer side of a side surface of the housing unit so as to cover the venting device. The particle-blocking member includes: a blocking unit that includes a first surface facing a side surface of the housing unit, a second surface extending from the upper end of the first surface toward the side surface of the housing unit, and a pair of third surfaces extending from side ends of the first surface toward the side surface of the housing unit, and forms a second inner space; and an accommodation unit located below the blocking unit.
