Abstract: The invention is a vehicle seating device (1) comprising a rigid support (2) suitable for installation at a seating area of a vehicle; a soft seating body (3) superimposed on the support (2) and including a seating surface (3a) suitable for supporting buttocks or back of a user; at least one collapsible element (4) disposed between the support (2) and the body (3) at the seating surface (3a) and including an internal portion (40) comprising elastically compressible material so as to allow geometric variation of the seating surface (3a) at least along a main direction (4a) transverse to the seating surface (3a); an casing (41) including the internal portion (40) and including a gas-tight membrane; volume variation means (5) suitable for extracting and/or injecting gas into the casing (41), and comprising a pump (50) suitable only for extracting gas from the casing (41), and a valve (51), suitable for allowing or blocking the introduction of gas into the casing (41); wherein the collapsible element (4) comprises at least one contact portion (43) integrally constrained to the internal portion (40) along one side of the internal portion (40) facing the body (3) and including rubbery material such as to generate frictional resistance with the casing (41) so as to enable the shape of the internal portion (40) deformed by the buttocks of said user in sitting on the seating surface (3a) to be maintained.
