Abstract: SEAMLESS BAND-COMBINATION SWITCHING SCHEME Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a solution for seamless band-combination switching. In an aspect, the terminal device transmits, to a network device, information indicative of at least one band substitute of at least one band combination from a plurality of bands, wherein the band substitute comprises a first band to be substituted and at least one second band that is a substitute for the first band. Further, the terminal device receives, from the network device, a message indicative of at least one band switching configuration and a band switching procedure for a target band combination. Then, the terminal device performs, based on the at least one band switching configuration, the band switching procedure for the target band combination without service interruption on active bands not comprised in the at least one band substitute.
