Abstract: Scalable Method for Quercetin Loaded Polymeric Nanoparticles Enhancing Bioavailability and Stability in Chronic Disease Management This invention describes a quercetin-loaded polymeric nanoparticles, crafted to enhance the bioavailability and stability of quercetin for chronic disease management. Utilizing a solvent emulsification/evaporation method, quercetin is encapsulated within biodegradable polymers such as glycerol monostearate and soya lecithin, resulting in nanoparticles with optimal particle size (~2.65 µm) and high entrapment efficiency (up to 53.9%). The formulated nanoparticles exhibit a controlled and sustained release of quercetin, achieving a cumulative release of 98.26% over 300 minutes, thus enhancing its therapeutic efficacy. The stability and integrity of the nanoparticles are maintained under accelerated conditions, confirming their potential for clinical applications. This delivery system addresses the challenges of quercetin's poor solubility and rapid degradation, offering a promising solution for the effective treatment of chronic conditions such as inflammation and cancer.
