MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641093074 A) filed by Infineal Private Limited on July 31, 2026, for Satellite Tumbling Stabilization System Using Phased Array Antenna Beam-Forming.
Inventors include R, Saeed Jawad; and Govindassamy, Sivakumar.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a satellite communication system comprising a satellite and a ground station. The satellite comprises a phased array antenna positioned on a face of the satellite, a beam-forming circuit coupled to the phased array antenna and configured to generate a plurality of orthogonal digital beams, each beam having a beam identifier, and a transmitter configured to transmit beacon signals through the plurality of orthogonal digital beams, wherein each beacon signal is encoded with the beam identifier of a corresponding beam. The ground station is configured to receive the beacon signals from the satellite, identify the beam identifier from a received beacon signal, estimate a tumbling rate of the satellite based on the received beacon signals, and transmit timed-burst thruster commands to the satellite based on the identified beam identifier and the estimated tumbling rate.
