Abstract: In recent years, urban road safety and infrastructure maintenance have become critical concerns, especially in rapidly growing cities where road damage such as potholes often leads to accidents and traffic issues. This project presents the development of a mobile-based application designed to assist citizens in reporting road problems efficiently while enabling authorities to respond quickly. The application provides an easy-to-use interface where users can capture images of potholes and automatically tag their GPS location for accurate reporting. It allows real-time _complaint_suhmission and tracking, helping users-monitor the status of—their reports from submission to resolution. By integrating smart data handling and structured workflows, the system ensures that complaints are processed efficiently and transparently. The app also supports continuous tracking of reported issues and maintains a history of complaints, enabling both users and authorities to monitor progress over time. Authorities can use this data to prioritize repairs, manage resources effectively, and improve overall road maintenance planning. This solution aims to enhance citizen participation, improve communication between the public and municipal authorities, and ensure faster resolution of road issues. Ultimately, it contributes to safer roads, reduced accidents, and improved urban infrastructure management, especially in densely populated and developing regions.
