MUMBAI, India, June 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617045229 A) filed by Yamaha Hatsudoki Kabushiki Kaisha on April 08, 2026, for Saddled Multi-Characteristic Fuel Vehicle.

Inventor includes Someya, Akira.

The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a saddled multi-characteristic fuel vehicle of which the vehicle size is smaller than that of a typical automobile having a cabin, the space available for placing constituent components is limited, and the fuel tank is also smaller, wherein a multi-characteristic fuel filter can be placed and supported in addition to a multi-characteristic fuel tank, and the mixing of incoming fuel and existing fuel after refueling can be responded to through mechanical design. Since both a primary low-pressure filter and a secondary low-pressure filter constituting a low-pressure filter assembly are provided on a fuel pump or an attachment member, the low-pressure filter assembly can be compactly supported on the vehicle body of the saddled multi-characteristic fuel vehicle together with the saddled multi-characteristic fuel vehicle fuel tank, and the positional relationship between the start point and the end point of a low-pressure free flow path portion in a filtered fuel circulation flow path can be mechanically and structurally determined.
