MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611072314 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College on June 10, 2026, for Rugged Portable Micro Data-Centre Enclosure.

Inventors include Ms. Bhumica Verma; and Shreya Mishra.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a rugged portable micro data-centre enclosure comprising a protective shell containing shock-mounted server cartridges, an intake-side fold-out cooling duct, an exhaust-side fold-out cooling duct, deployable heat fins, a dust-separating cyclone intake and a rain-protected exhaust path. The fold-out cooling ducts and deployable heat fins are retained within the protective shell in a sealed transport configuration and are extendable outwardly in an operating configuration. In the operating configuration, the intake-side fold-out cooling duct directs incoming air toward the server cartridges and the exhaust-side fold-out cooling duct directs heated discharge air away from the server cartridges through the rain-protected exhaust path, thereby defining separated cold-air and hot-air paths. The enclosure further accommodates a retractable cable-management tray, a vibration-isolated power module and stackable mechanical interlocks for field connection of multiple enclosures.
