Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: RUBBER CURING ACTIVATOR: METAL OXIDE AND ORGANIC ACID PHYSICAL BLEND A ready-to-use activator blend system is provided including for elastomeric and rubber product compounding as an innovative rubber curing activator composition, specifically as a physically blended formulation comprising metal oxides and organic acids, and also provides for a fast-curing elastomeric materials including such elastomeric and rubber product compounding system. The rubber curing activator composition offers enhanced vulcanization performance, improved handling, and environmental advantages. The activator blend can be formed into solid tablets, pellets, or extrudable shapes, facilitating ease of use and consistent distribution within rubber compounds. The invention particularly identifies the synergistic effect in physical blend of Zinc Oxide and Stearic Acid in various ratios, although other metal oxides and organic acids are also encompassed.
