Abstract: RP-HPLC ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR THE ESTIMATION OF METHANE SULFONIC ACID BY HPLC WITH UV DETACTOR. The present invention discloses a robust and validated Reverse Phase High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (RP-HPLC) analytical method for the precise estimation of Methane Sulfonic Acid in pharmaceutical formulations. The method employs a mobile phase consisting of Methanol and Water (65:35), a stainless-steel C13 column (4.6 x 150 mm; 5 µm), and UV detection at 240 nm. Sample preparation involves sonication and filtration to ensure consistency and accuracy. The developed method demonstrates excellent sensitivity, reproducibility, and compliance with regulatory standards, making it ideal for routine quality control analysis. The methodology is cost-effective, efficient, and supports stringent pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.
