Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent solar-assisted seed germination system for operation in cold hilly and mountainous regions. The system comprises a thermally insulated seed germination chamber integrated with a rock-bed solar air heater, a solar photovoltaic power generation unit with battery storage, a heat circulation system, a humidity regulation system, an adaptive ventilation system, and a programmable LED grow lighting system. Solar energy absorbed through a transparent cover heats a rock-bed thermal storage medium during daytime, wherein the stored thermal energy is released and circulated into the germination chamber during low-temperature periods. The system further incorporates a hydrophobic membrane-based condensation management arrangement and environmental sensors for monitoring germination conditions. A microcontroller-based PID control unit automatically regulates temperature, humidity, airflow, and lighting, thereby enabling energy-efficient, reliable, and grid-independent seed germination in remote agricultural regions.
