Abstract: ABSTRACT Robotic Railway Fastener Monitoring and Adaptive Torque Calibration System The present invention relates to a robotic railway maintenance system for automated detection, positioning, tightening and monitoring of railway fastening nuts. The system comprises an ESP32 microcontroller (100), proximity sensor (102), L298N motor driver (103), DC geared motors (104), wheeled chassis platform (105), servo motor arrangement (106,107), robotic arm assembly (108), fastening/torque mechanism (109), rechargeable battery (110), buck converter (111), torque monitoring sensor/feedback module (112), relay module (113), alert indicator (114), and LCD display (115). The wheeled chassis (105) moves along a railway track and the proximity sensor (102) detects a fastening nut. Upon detection, the ESP32 controller (100) stops the chassis and positions the robotic arm (108) through the servo motors (107). The fastening mechanism (109) applies controlled torque while feedback is monitored by the controller (100). Tightening status is displayed on the LCD (115), and abnormal torque or fastening conditions activate the alert indicator (114). The system provides automated, monitored and safer railway fastener maintenance. Figure-1
