Abstract: A robotic multicolour rangoli-making system (100) comprises a programmable six-axis robotic arm (110) having an end effector (116) and a gripper (118) carrying a powder dispensing assembly (120). A holder body (124) is divided by radial partitions (128) into eight mutually separated colour compartments (130a-130h). A distributor plate (140) has corresponding distributor apertures (142a-142h) controlled by independently actuated shutter members (138a-138h). A selector servo motor (144) positions a feeder inlet (148) of a common feeder tube (146) below a selected distributor aperture. A microcontroller (170) coordinates feeder positioning, shutter opening and closing, powder-flow duration and robotic-arm velocity according to predefined pattern data (192). Unselected shutters remain closed, and the selected shutter is closed before the feeder tube is repositioned for a colour change, thereby depositing a multicolour rangoli pattern (198) on a rangoli surface (190) with improved precision, consistency and repeatability.
