The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: Roadside Hazard Detection and Vehicle Warning System and Method Thereof The present disclosure relates to a real-time roadside hazard detection and vehicle warning system and a method thereof. The system comprises one or more roadside hazard modules, an alert system, a communication network, and vehicle units associated with approaching vehicles. Each module comprises one or more thermal, infrared, radar, imaging, environmental, or communication sensors configured to detect objects within a predefined roadway range. Upon detecting a hazard, the module generates detection data comprising object presence, location, and classification information and transmits the data through the communication network to the alert system and approaching vehicles. A vehicle-mounted receiver receives the detection data, and a processing unit evaluates collision risk using the received hazard information and locally acquired vehicle sensor data. The processing unit generates an alert signal to notify a driver or an onboard vehicle control system of a potential roadway hazard, thereby improving driver awareness and supporting timely collision avoidance.
