Abstract: A rising aid device for elderly comprises of, an inverted L-shaped frame 101 with rectangular base 102 secured to floor via multiple suction units 103, an ultrasonic sensor detects bed height, allowing frame 101 to extend/retract for optimal positioning, a motorized slider 104 with motorized pulley wrapped with rope 106, positioning the pulley 105 above user's head, pulley 105 unwraps rope 106, enabling user to grip looped handle 107 attached to rope's end, load cell detect user’s grip on handle 107 and on detection of grip, pulley 105 wraps rope 106 in view of assisting user in getting up from bed, pair of inverted L-shaped telescopic bars 108 with attached plates 113 are positioned under the user's deltoids, motorized sliding unit 109 synchronizes upward movement of bars 108 to assist in rising, a health monitoring module with PPG and biofeedback sensors alerts caregiver if abnormalities in user’s health are detected.
