The film matrix is further enhanced with organoleptic additives for taste masking, preservatives for microbial stability, and plasticizers to improve flexibility and handling. The film is configured to dissolve in the oral cavity, facilitating direct absorption of exemestane through mucosal tissues and potentially bypassing the P- glycoprotein efflux mechanism in the gastrointestinal tract.
