Abstract: A system for providing automated vehicle authorization and fuel payment at a petrol pump using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is disclosed. The system comprises an REID reader, an REED .enabled user card or tag, a microcontroller, a fuel flow sensing unit, a fuel dispensing control unit, and a display or communication module. The REID reader identifies the authorized user and retrieves the corresponding prepaid balance associated with the REID card. Upon successful authentication and confirmation of sufficient balance, the system enables fuel dispensing and continuously measures the quantity of fuel supplied using the flow sensing unit. The corresponding fuel cost is automatically calculated based on the measured quantity and prevailing fuel price, and the amount is deducted from the user's available balance. If the balance is insufficient or the REID card is unauthorized, fuel dispensing is automatically restricted. The system provides real-time balance and transaction information, reduces manual payment operations, improves fuel dispensing control, and enables a convenient cashless fuel payment process. The system is suitable for low-cost automated petrol pump applications and can be integrated with IoT-based monitoring and transaction management systems.SS, CH
