MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641069092 A) filed by The Principal Mepco Engineering College on June 02, 2026, for Rf Feeding Apparatus With Pin Diode Control For Polarization Reconfigurable Mimo Antennas In Uav Systems.

Inventor includes Dr. S. Anand.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a PIN-diode-controlled RF feeding apparatus for dynamic polarization rcconliguration in a 2 x 2 MIMO antenna system operating at 2.4 Gl-lz. The apparatus includes RF input connectors, polarization converters, PIN-diodecontrolled switching paths, and RF output ports connected to respective antenna 265 clements. The system dynamically switches bet ween linear polarization and circular polarization modes by selectively routing RF signals through polarization conversion paths or direct transmission paths. Each antenna clement is independently rceonfigurablc, thereby enabling LI'-LI', CP -CI', LP--CI', and CP-.JJ hybrid polarization configurations. The apparatus 1mproves polarization diversity, 270 communication reliability, isolation performance, and robustness against polarization mismatch and multipath fading. The apparatus is compatible with various antenna structures including microstrip, slot, monopole, patch, and dielectric resonator antennas for LJA V and wireless communication application
