Abstract: With the rapid growth of wireless communication technologies and electronic devices, the demand for sustainable and maintenance-free energy sources has increased significantly. RF Energy Harvesting is an emerging technology designed to capture ambient Radio Frequency signals from the environment and convert them into usable electrical energy. This project focuses on developing an efficient RF energy harvesting system capable of collecting energy from sources such as mobile towers, Wi-Fi routers, television broadcasts, and other wireless communication systems. The proposed system consists of an antenna, impedance matching circuit, rectifier, voltage multiplier, and energy storage unit. The antenna captures electromagnetic waves present in the surrounding environment, and the matching circuit optimizes the signal transfer. The rectifier converts the RF signals into DC power, which is then boosted using a voltage multiplier and stored in capacitors or rechargeable batteries. Unlike conventional power sources, RF energy harvesting eliminates the need for batteries and wired connections, making it highly suitable for low-power electronic applications. The system is environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and requires minimal maintenance. It is particularly useful for powering wireless sensors, IoT devices, wearable electronics, and smart monitoring systems. RF energy harvesting technology reduces energy wastage and supports renewable energy utilization. By converting unused electromagnetic radiation into electrical power, the system contributes to sustainable development. This innovation enables self-powered devices, improves energy efficiency, and reduces dependency on traditional power sources. Overall, RF Energy Harvesting provides a promising solution for future wireless power systems and smart electronics.
