Abstract: ABSTRACT RF and Camera-Based Automatic Zone Speed Limiting System for Electric Vehicles The present invention relates to an automatic speed limiting system and method for an electric vehicle, comprising a zone-side unit (101) having an RF transmitter (102) and a vehicle-side unit (100) having an RF receiver (104), ESP32 microcontroller (107), ESP32-CAM (105), L298N motor driver (110), DC motor (111), LCD display (108), buzzer (109), LM2596 buck converter (112), and rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery pack (113). The RF transmitter (102) communicates a zone-specific signal to the RF receiver (104), enabling the ESP32 microcontroller (107) to identify a restricted zone and automatically regulate motor speed through PWM control of the motor driver (110). The ESP32-CAM (105) additionally detects a pedestrian, animal or obstacle (106), causing further speed reduction and warning through the buzzer (109) and LCD (108). The system thereby provides integrated zone-dependent and obstacle-responsive automatic speed control for improved electric-vehicle safety. Figure-1
