Abstract: ABSTRACT REUSABLE WOODEN CARRIER SYSTEM FOR SAFE TRANSIT AND STORAGE OF MECHANICAL SEALS The present invention provides a reusable eco-friendly wooden carrier (100) for safe transportation, handling, storage, and lifecycle preservation of refurbished mechanical seals (190) and similar precision industrial components. The carrier (100) comprises a rigid hardwood enclosure (110), an internal seating arrangement (120), a locating stud-hole arrangement (130) with a central stud bolt (132) that passes through the hollow centre of the mechanical seal (190) to prevent displacement, a removable top cover (140) with a cushioning layer (150) for impact absorption, a fastening arrangement (170), and dual side lifting handles (160) for ergonomic manual handling. The carrier (100) features a standardized stackable geometry for organized warehouse storage. Designed for repeated industrial use across the complete refurbishment lifecycle, the carrier (100) reduces packaging waste, handling damage, and maintenance costs while supporting sustainable industrial practices in process industries employing rotating equipment.
