MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611062335 A) filed by Yadwinder Singh on May 16, 2026, for Reusable Sleeve Assembly With Threaded Fixation For Forming Service Passages In Concrete Structural Memberss.

Inventor includes Yadwinder Singh.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a reusable sleeve assembly (100) and a method (200) for forming service passages in concrete structural members. The reusable sleeve assembly (100) has a solid sleeve body (102) formed from polytetrafluoroethylene material, the solid sleeve body (102) having an axial through-hole (104). A threaded rod (106) extends through the axial through-hole (104), and a first fastening member (108a) and a second fastening member (108b) secure the solid sleeve body (102) relative to a shuttering arrangement (110) during a concrete casting operation. After curing of concrete, the threaded rod (106), the fastening members (108a, 108b), and the solid sleeve body (102) are removed to form a service opening. The assembly enables accurate alignment, reduced extraction resistance, repeated reuse, and formation of service passages for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and medical gas installations.
