Abstract: ABSTRACT RETROFIT AUTOMATED CLEANING SYSTEM FOR WATER STORAGE TANKS The present invention relates to a retrofit automated cleaning system for a water storage tank configured to perform multi-stage cleaning using controlled fluid routing, jet-based surface cleaning, and heated chemical circulation. The system comprises a water storage tank adapted to function as both a storage unit and a cleaning vessel, a plurality of solenoid valves for controlling inlet, outlet, jet supply and discharge paths, and a plurality of water level sensors for monitoring operational states. A servo-controlled water jet assembly supplied by a water jet pump to direct pressurized fluid over internal surfaces. A citric acid dropper introduces a predetermined quantity of citric acid crystals into the tank, and an external circulation loop comprising a circulation pump, a temperature-regulated heater, and a filter circulates heated solution for removal of deposits. The system further includes over-pressure drains, a camera module, and a network-enabled control unit for automated operation, monitoring, and logging. Fig. 1
