Abstract: The present invention relates to a cattle health monitoring system (100) configured to provide continuous health assessment and early disease detection in cattle through integrated retinal image analysis and physiological parameter monitoring. The system comprises a data acquisition module (110) including a retinal image acquisition module (111), a temperature sensor (112), an activity sensor (113), and a positioning sensor (114) for collecting retinal images, body temperature, movement patterns, and geographical location of cattle. The acquired data are transmitted to a data processing module (120) and an edge processing module (130), where a microcontroller (131) and a machine learning processing module (132) employing a trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) analyse the retinal images and physiological data to identify potential health abnormalities. A communication interface module (141) transmits the processed health information to a remote backend server, while a data store module (142) securely maintains historical health records for long-term analysis and disease trend prediction. An alert module (151) generates real-time notifications upon detection of abnormal health conditions, and a user interface module (152) presents cattle identification, health status, location, and historical records. The invention enables timely veterinary intervention, improves disease management, reduces livestock losses, and enhances productivity through continuous remote monitoring and intelligent health assessment.
