Abstract: ABSTRACT [0012] An intelligent data-driven system is disclosed that unifies artificial-intelligence sales forecasting with real-time anomaly detection for retail operations. Historical and live transactional data drawn from point-of-sale terminals, inventory databases, and customer interaction logs are collected, preprocessed, and normalized. Machine-learning and predictive-analytics models then generate accurate short-term and long-term sales forecasts across products, stores, and time horizons. Concurrently, automated anomaly-detection algorithms continuously examine sales streams to identify deviations such as sudden demand spikes, revenue drops, pricing inconsistencies, or potential fraudulent activity, issuing timely alerts for intervention. By overcoming the static reporting and delayed insight characteristic of conventional retail analytics, the system supports proactive inventory optimization, improved demand planning, and reduced operational losses, delivering a scalable and cost-effective framework for modern retail sales management and risk control.
