Abstract: ABSTRACT RESTRAINING SYSTEM FOR SEAT OF VEHICLE The present disclosure pertains to a restraining system (104) for a seat (102) of a vehicle is disclosed. The system (104) includes a restraint sheet (202) disposed underneath a frame (106) of the seat (102) and configured to transition between a stowed state and a deployed state. The system (104) further includes a deployment mechanism (204) integrated with the frame (106) and operatively coupled to the restraint sheet (202). The deployment mechanism (204) is configured to transition the restraint sheet (202) between the stowed state and the deployed state. In the deployed state, the restraint sheet (202) is configured to encapsulate an occupant (302) within a seating space defined by the seat in response to inertial forces acting on the occupant (302).
