Abstract: The present application provides a resource indication method for coherent joint transmission, and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device receiving first information from a first network device, the first information being used to indicate first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) rate matching and a first time offset; on the basis of the first information, the terminal device sending second information to a second network device, the second information being used to indicate second PDSCH rate matching and a second time offset, the second PDSCH rate matching being determined on the basis of the first PDSCH rate matching, and the second time offset being determined on the basis of the first time offset. The method provided by the present application enables the first network device and the second network device to send PDSCHs to the terminal device on the same time-frequency resource. In a multi-site coordination scenario, a plurality of network devices can send PDSCHs to the same terminal device on the same time-frequency resource, improving data transmission performance.
