Abstract: Provided in the present application are a resource indication method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: determining a first frequency position at which a first synchronization signal and physical broadcast channel block (SSB) is located, wherein the first SSB comprises a first physical broadcast channel (PBCH), and the first frequency position is associated with a first frequency domain resource mapping position of the first PBCH; and a terminal device can determine the first frequency domain resource mapping position of the first PBCH by means of the association relationship between the first frequency position and the first frequency domain resource mapping position, thereby correctly receiving the first PBCH. By means of the method, the first frequency domain resource mapping position of the first PBCH can be indicated without needing additional signaling interaction, such that the consumption of transmission resources can be reduced.
