Abstract: Resistance Band with Visual Load Feedback ABSTRACT This project details the design and implementation of a Smart Resistance Band with a Visual Load Indicator (RB-VU). The core objective is to enhance the efficacy and safety of resistance band training by providing real-time, quantitative feedback on the force applied during exercise. The purpose of this project is_to develop a resistance_band that can detecf,_display, and_prswide feedback on the applied force in real time. This innovation addresses the limitation of conventional resistance bands, which lack a system to measure and display applied force, leading to inconsistency in training and therapy sessions. The device helps in physiotherapy rehabilitation, muscle strengthening, and fitness tracking. By using sensors and digital visualization, the RB-VUI aims to enhance exercise precision, safety, and user motivation through immediate feedback. The system integrates a flexible stretch sensor or small load sensor, an ESP32 microcontroller to process data, and an OLED screen to show load values in kilograms (kg). This feedback system is enclosed in a compact housing at the center of the band and helps users maintain optimal intensity and track rehabilitation progress effectively.
