Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for Reporting Rach Access Latency

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511022337 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy on March 12, 2025, for Reporting Rach Access Latency.

Inventors include Tejas Subramanya; Sivaramakrishnan Swaminathan; and Zexian Li.

Abstract: There is provided a method performed by a user equipment. The method comprises determining random access (RA) latency information of one or more RA attempts, and transmitting the determined RA latency inf01mation to a network node. The network node may then determine whether to reconfigure RA configuration for one or more user equipments based on the received RA latency information.
