Abstract: ABSTRACT Ferrock is an eco-friendly and sustainable construction material developed as an alternative to conventional cement concrete. It is mainly produced using industrial waste materials such as steel dust, iron-rich waste, and silica-based materials. Ferrock is formed by mixing these materials with an alkaline activator and compacting them properly. One of the special properties of Ferrock is that it absorbs carbon dioxide (CO2) during the curing process, which makes it a carbon-negative material. Compared to ordinary Portland cement, Ferrock provides higher strength, better durability, and improved resistance to cracking. It also shows good performance against corrosion and chemical attacks. Due to its sustainable nature and ability to reduce environmental pollution, Ferrock can be effectively used in construction applications like blocks, pavements, and structural components. This project focuses on studying the preparation process, properties, and advantages of Ferrock as a modern green building material.
