Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart remote healthcare monitoring system specifically designed for patients recovering from urological surgical procedures. Post- operative complications such as urinary retention, infection, abnormal vital signs, and catheter blockage require continuous observation, which is difficult to achieve through conventional hospital-based monitoring. This system enables real-time physiological data acquisition using wearable and bedside sensor modules that measure parameters such as body temperature, heart rate, oxygen saturation, urine output rate, and catheter flow status. The collected data is transmitted wirelessly to a cloud server through an Internet of Things (IoT) communication module. Medical professionals can remotely access patient information via a secured web or mobile application interface. Automated alert mechanisms notify caregivers and clinicians when abnormal values exceed predefined safety thresholds. The system also includes patient-side reminders for medication intake, hydration schedules, and mobility exercises to support faster recovery. By minimizing the need for repeated hospital visits and reducing the workload of medical staff, the invention improves healthcare efficiency while enhancing patient comfort and safety. Furthermore, the proposed system supports data logging and trend analysis, enabling physicians to evaluate recovery patterns and predict possible complications. The invention is scalable and adaptable to home-based recovery environments, making it suitable for urban and rural healthcare settings. Overall, the system offers a cost-effective, reliable, and continuous monitoring solution that significantly improves post-urological surgical care outcomes.
