MUMBAI, India, Sept. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202644021787 A) filed by Cummins Emission Solutions Inc. on February 24, 2026, for Remote Computing System For Determining That A Fault Exists Indicating That A Control Valve Of A Vehicle Is Installed Incorrectly.

Inventor includes Changlin Wang.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: A system includes a vehicle and a remote computing system. The vehicle includes a reductant dosing system and a sensor. The reductant dosing system includes a reductant source storing reductant, a coolant source storing coolant, a conduit coupled to the reductant source and the coolant source, and a control valve disposed along the conduit and configured to facilitate control of a flow of the coolant through the conduit. The sensor is coupled to the conduit and configured to obtain data associated with operation of the control valve. The remote computing system includes one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer readable memories. The one or more computer readable memories store instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive the data obtained by the sensor, analyze the data using a machine learning model to determine whether a fault exists.
