Abstract: [Problem] To provide a refrigerant detection device capable of shortening the time required to detect leakage of a refrigerant. [Solution] According to an embodiment, this refrigerant detection device comprises: a housing that is attached to a wall surface of an indoor space, which is a space to be air-conditioned by an air conditioner, and has a bottom surface facing a floor surface of the indoor space; and a refrigerant sensor that is housed inside the housing and detects leakage of a refrigerant. The housing has a first opening that is provided on the bottom surface and allows the inside and the outside of the housing to communicate with each other, and a second opening that is provided on a surface different from the bottom surface and allows the inside and the outside of the housing to communicate with each other. The first opening is provided at a position opposing the refrigerant sensor when viewed from below in the vertical direction.
