Abstract: A recommendation system (100) to identify smart display device models suitable for a user’s content usage. The recommendation system (100) includes a data module (104) to capture data frames associated with content being consumed by the user on a smart display device for a pre-defined duration, a pre-processing module (106) to extract data frame parameters from the captured data frames and to build a machine learning model for the content usage of the user based on the extracted data frame parameters and an identification engine (108) to generate a database (110) of smart device models and associated specification data, and to identify specification data and associated smart device models suitable for the user’s content usage from the database (110), based on the built machine learning model for recommending the identified smart device models to the user.
