Inventors include Dr. Madhuvanthani Rajendran; J. Daisy Panimariyal; G. Deephiksha; D. Manibala; R. Niranjana; M. Janani; and Dr. G. Sundar.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: This invention proposes a smart monitoring and service alert system for domestic RO water purifiers to ensure safe and efficient operation. The system continuously monitors the performance of RO filters using a TDS sensor. An ESP32 microcontroller is used to process the sensor data and control system functions. When the TDS value exceeds a predefined threshold, the system detects possible filter degradation or reduced purification efficiency. An alert is generated and sent to the user through a GSM module for timely action. The system also displays real-time status information on an LCD for user awareness. A relay module is used to control the water pump based on system conditions. This helps in preventing the use of improperly purified water. The system reduces manual monitoring and improves maintenance efficiency. It provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for smart RO purifier management.
