MUMBAI, India, June 19 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411088254 A) filed by Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz Private Limited on November 14, 2024, for Real Time Vehicle Safety System And Method Thereof.

Inventors include Bhomik Luthra; Anirudh Nagpal; Anuj Kapuria; and Nishant Kejriwal.

The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a real-time vehicle safety system and a method thereof. The system100 and method700 include an object tracking unit 102, a processing unit104, and a plurality of memory space106. The object tracking unit102 identifies and monitors a plurality of objects within a region of interest (ROI) in real-time. The processing unit104 estimates raw distances between a subject vehicle and the plurality of objects, stores and filters them in the plurality of memory space106. Further, the processing unit 104 calculates a plurality of relative velocities, factors them when they exceed a threshold relative velocity, and determines a time to collision (TTC) and a plurality of warning thresholds. The processing unit104 issues a plurality of warning signals when the TTC falls below the plurality of warning thresholds to alert a vehicle operator. FIG.1&7
