MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411103054 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges on December 24, 2024, for Real-Time Tracking And Health Monitoring System For Rescue Operations.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a real-time tracking and monitoring system for individuals in challenging environments. The system includes a wearable RFID-enabled bracelet with an integrated GPS tracker for continuous location tracking. It also features health monitoring sensors to track vital parameters such as oxygen levels, heart rate, and movement, providing real-time alerts for deviations. A mesh network ensures reliable communication in remote areas, enabling real-time tracking of both individuals and rescuers. The system includes a satellite communication module for bi-directional communication, even in areas without cellular coverage. A dual-layer SOS mechanism offers both automatic and manual distress triggers based on health anomalies or user intervention. The bracelet is designed with a rugged, waterproof casing for continuous operability in extreme conditions, and a rechargeable backup battery ensures uninterrupted functionality. Additionally, a solar-powered charging kit is included for use in the field, ensuring extended operational duration. FIG. 1
